Do you enjoy reading and want to share your love of books with others? Do you enjoy meeting new people? If you answered yes, then you should check out the McCormick Book Club.
The McCormick Book Club is hosted by the McCormick Branch Library and began meeting in September 2008. Meetings are held monthly on the last Tuesday of the month. Since its inception, the Book Club has read and discussed The Other Side of the Bridge by Mary Lawson, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon and The Kite Runner by Khalid Hosseini. The book to be discussed at December's meeting is Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone!!New members are always welcome!
In 2009, several exciting titles have been chosen as well. The 2009 McCormick Book Club titles include:

June 30th - The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls
July 28th - My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult
